Melfurn accidently began life in the mid 80's when accountant Vince Caputi agreed to import a consignment of webbing. When the consignment arrived there was no longer a buyer and Vince had no choice but to sell it himself.

From those inauspicious beginnings 20 years ago, the business has blossomed and now imports and sells a large range of quality upholstery hardware supplies. When Vince decided to retire early in 2004, he found an enthusiastic and capable buyer in Bob Levis.
